I could smell her sweet skin from across the room like freshly baked bread.
She was delicious and full of the richest laughter. The lush sound of it captured my ears under seashells and pulsed itself at me in warm, heavy waves.
The conversation I had been so fueled by was suddenly banging like pots and pans around my body. And when she stopped laughing (It gently trickled away into a sigh) I stayed helplessly immersed in that moment the way honey leaves your fingers sticky even after you've licked them clean.
A man from beside her put his hand comfortably over her hip and pressed the bone there with his fingers. I tried to cool the heat in my head, and excusing myself from the conversation I moved further from her towards the bar where I ordered something I can't remember.
She took his mouth and I took my drink.

I was going to put something deep and meaningful down here, but I forgot what it was. So, instead, have some cheese!
